| Vacancy Type:Work Experience:10Age: VATTANAC BANK is a licensed Bank operating in Cambodia and offers a full range of retail and commercial banking products and services. In line with our branch expansion, we invite suitable and qualified candidates to apply for the following position: Deputy General Manager Overall Purpose: - Assist the Executive Director/General Manager on the effective and efficient management of the operations and administration of the Bank - Responsible for overseeing Banking Operations, Card Services and E-banking and Information Technology - Ensure that all departments concerned are in strict compliance with the Bank’s policies, guidelines and directives KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and align corporate technology vision and strategy to the Bank’s corporate vision, goals and objectives - Provide strategic direction on Banking Operations, IT infrastructure and Cards Service and E-business strategies - Direct and oversee the day-to-day operation of Banking Operations, IT, Card Services and E-banking including the administration of departments’ budget, staff planning and internal controls - Ensure all guidelines and manuals relating to the bank’s operations are updated. Champion and implement all IT and Card Services and E-banking initiatives identified in the Bank’s corporate business strategies - Improve the process of delivering innovative solutions to customers - Conceptualize and implement new product lines and continuous product development - Build confidence and trust with customers - Assist ED/GM to ensure that regular reports meet the requirement of board of directors and Management - Assist ED/GM to ensure that the Bank’s practices are in compliance with Cambodia laws, policies, international banking standards, and requirements of the National Bank of Cambodia - Manage several department – Banking Operations, IT, Card Services and E-banking to achieve targets - Leadership: Take ownership of departments’ performance and development to meet the bank’s target. - Create an inspiring and collaborative work environment that enables staff to excel - Perform other duties as assigned by the President, the Board and General Manager. |
| - Tertiary qualifications in business related field or Professional Degree - At least 10 years of working experience in commercial banking in a managerial capacity - Preferably manager with strong experience in banking operations, IT and card service and e-banking - Excellent command of written and verbal English. Ability to converse in Mandarin is a plus - Matured, outgoing with ability to drive performance. - People orientated with ability to interact at all levels. - A team player - Willing to work hard - IT literate. |
