Age:30 45The responsibilities of a hotel resident manager vary depending on the size and amenities of the hotel in which they work. Generally, they are responsible for the daily operation of the hotel, which includes managing and directing other personnel such as housekeeping, administration and security. They may also be responsible for hiring and training staff.
Other duties that may be part of a resident manager's job, depending on the hotel, can range from setting room rates and approving expenditures, to ensuring that customer service standards are met. They are required to be available hours per day in order to respond to emergencies.

Main responsibility:

1. Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures.
2. Train staff members.
3. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints.
4. Assign duties to workers, and schedule shifts.
5. Monitor the revenue activity of the hotel or facility.
6. Interview and hire applicants.
7. Greet and register guests.
8. Show, rent, or assign accommodations.
9. Purchase supplies, and arrange for outside services, such as deliveries, laundry, maintenance and repair, and trash collection.
10. Coordinate front-office activities of hotels or motels, and resolve problems.
11. Collect payments and record data pertaining to funds and expenditures.
12. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
13. Provide assistance to staff members by inspecting rooms, setting tables or doing laundry.
14. Participate in financial activities such as the setting of room rates, the establishment of budgets, and the allocation of funds to departments.
15. Arrange telephone answering services, deliver mail and packages, or answer questions regarding locations for eating and entertainment.
16. Receive and process advance registration payments, mail letters of confirmation, or return checks when registrations cannot be accepted.
17. Prepare required paperwork pertaining to departmental functions.
18. Confer and cooperate with other head of department to ensure coordination of hotel activities.
19. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the operation of a department or establishment.
20. Perform marketing and public relations activities.
21. Manage and maintain temporary or permanent lodging facilities.
22. Organize and coordinate the work of staff and convention personnel for meetings to be held at a particular facility.
23. Meet with clients to schedule and plan details of conventions, banquets, receptions and other functions.
24. Up selling for all service to the guests, including tour packages, Tickets, Food & Beverages, Spa… etc.

职位要求

  Education:
? General education related to hospitality, on middle and higher management level.

Work experience:
? At least 1 year experience within the hotel industry in Hotel Management.

Professional skills:
? Excellent written English and copy-writing skills.
? Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
? Experience with hotel operation systems
? Skillful in project planning/ tasks and able to prioritize projects/ tasks.

Personal skills:
? Highly managerial capacities
? Highly organized and efficient individual
? Pro-active and result driven Flexible
? Both team player and captain (hands-on)
? Ability to adapt vision and proven flexibility
