| Vacancy Type:Work Experience:1Age: The role of Director’s Personal Assistant entails high-level, international communication with various collaborators, and assisting the Director to make the best use of his time through excellent secretarial and administrative skills. We are seeking for a qualified candidate to field the position of Personal Assistant |
| The main duties of the Director’s Personal Assistant include the following: ? Managing and maintaining the Director’s calendar and schedule ? Dealing with the Director’s correspondence, including urgent and diplomatic matters ? Making arrangements for the Director’s travel ? Language editing of correspondence and presentations ? Preparing meetings, meeting materials and taking minutes in various meetings chaired by the Director ? Managing and maintaining the Director’s document libraries and archives ? Coordinating arrangements for the Director’s guests Qualifications ? Demonstrated experience in a Personal Assistant role or similar position (minimum 1 year) ? Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Khmer are required (knowledge of other European languages is an asset) ? Experience of working with senior management is essential ? Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Outlook ? Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task ? Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters ? Attention to detail and deadlines ? Ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of a small team ? Previous experience of travel arrangements is an asset ? Secretarial college diploma or a Bachelor/Masters’ degree in a relevant field (e.g. languages, communications, business administration) ? Experience of working within an international environment, ideally international organisation ? Experience of dealing with different time zones ? Excellent organisational skills ? Professional telephone manner ? Willingness to work in a multicultural environment ? Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines ? Bright, confident personality ? Well presented ? Highly personable ? Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised ? Willing to travel internationally with the Director. |
