The position is also responsible for the implementation of preventive/predictive maintenance programs. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY -Performs work requiring knowledge and demonstrated ability of mechanical and electrical theory and principles, and statutory codes. -Analyze operational problems on assigned production equipment, executing repairs quickly, accurately and effectively. -Perform assigned preventative maintenance inspections/repairs of assigned equipment. -Assist in continuous training of other maintenance personnel and plant associates on production equipment. -Ensure that all documentation on upgrades or modifications to production equipment is complete and accurate. -Assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that the correct level of inventory is available. -Enter all maintenance activities into an internal tracking system. -Leads “team” efforts in the evaluation and resolution of manufacturing issues. -Able to use basic windows programs such as word and excel. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

	-Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Technologies or equivalent relevant work experience. -Minimum seven years experience in electro/mechanical maintenance environment working with automated machinery. Experience in consumer goods manufacturing preferred. -Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical theory and principles, and statuary codes required. -Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair machine problems requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise. -Ability to use and understand advanced mathematics, handbook formulas, and other sources of technical information. -Knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) control systems required. Experience with Siemens controls preferred. -Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, shop equipment and machining tools. -Proficiency in the use of a personal computer as a troubleshooting tool required. -Rotating shift work required. -Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. -Must function well in a team environment with ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
