工作描述

Vacancy Type: Work Experience: Age: - Perform hydraulic and thermodynamic engineering analyses on a given pump product in order to judge the adequacy of the design in relation to the applicable design requirement(s). Review and evaluate customer specifications related to technical acceptability; - Advise the estimating engineer of the technical requirements and changes in design in order to provide accurate pump costing; - Implement contract variations after review and acceptance; - Analyze customer complaints and provide solutions in co-operation with project management and representatives of the Service Group. - Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis on appropriate occasions, with due consideration of the established project work plan and project time schedule. - Review hydraulic selections and customer specifications during order entry, and translate the projected hydraulic field performance to test floor requirements. - Provide sound and practical engineering support and technical assistance to the manufacturing organisation, project operations, and sales in support of division goals and objectives. - Manage hydraulic design activities, such that optimum cost effectiveness is obtained between quality, design, and manufacturing, while ensuring that the division engineering design standards are adhered to.

职位要求

- Knowledge of complex pump hydraulic design, including impeller layout/volute diffuser layouts - Familiar with computational fluid dynamics - Affinity with mechanical engineering, vibro elastics, finite element analysis - Analytical open mind to perform root cause analysis and developing practical solutions - Good communication skills verbal and written, for reporting and internal/external presentations - Team player, willing to share ideas with other parties - Proficient in the English language both written and verbal, other languages would be advantageous - A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Autocad / PRO-Engineer - Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering on MS-level, or equivalent, with key expertise / interest in classical fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics and engineering thermodynamics. - Competency: To be able to communicate at all levels in the organization up to the operations management level. - Skills: Fluently in languages - English
