工作描述

  Overall Responsibilities
a. Conduct audits and reviews of branches in accordance with established audit scope, approach, methodologies and techniques to achieve the desired audit objectives effectively.
b. Assist the team leader to train and guide new team members especially those without any audit and operational banking experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
a. Attend the pre‐audit briefing session (together with the team leader) with the reviewer\Section Head, to discuss on new areas of checking and other pertinent matters.
b. Assist the team leader to:
• Plan the audit assignment in accordance with the number of mandays allocated.
• Gather facts, data, statistics etc. in relation to the audit for the team leader to prepare the audit plan.
• Take note of all outstanding matters from the previous audit report and working papers, for follow‐up during the current audit.
• Complete the stationery checklist and obtain the stationeries required for the audit, from the confidential assistant.
c. Peruse the profit & Loss/Income & Expenditure and Sundry Assets/ Liabilities accounts via the Walker General ledger System form any irregular entries and select samples for checking at the Branch.
a. Plan and organize the audit work to ensure optimum utilization of man‐ hours effectively and to ensure the work assigned are completed within the time allocated to avoid any disruption on the overall budgeted time
b. Perform the audit on all areas stipulated in the audit programmers and internal control questionnaires and ensure that the scope of coverage, audit steps and samples taken are sufficient.
c. Carry out instruction in respect of the additional audit work given by the team leader during the audit assignment.
d. Prepare the working papers and RAF for each completed section. (Refer to Appendix A for details)
e. Respond to review queries raised by the team leaders.
f. Inform the team leader when encountered with difficulties in completing the work and that additional time is required. Time constraint should not be a factor or excuse to prevent further checking and investigation.

职位要求

  - A degree in accounting or a related discipline, or an accounting technician (CAT) qualification and a commitment to on-going professional development.

- At least 3-year working experiences with exposure to audit procedures, planning, sampling and testing methods.

- Ability to plan and organize a substantial workload.

- Demonstrable track-record producing high quality written materials against a deadline.
