Job Description

  - Key Area 1: Partnership And Coordination
- Establish And Maintain A Good And Productive Working Relationship With Partner Government And NGO To Ensure The Effective Implementation, Timeline And Quality Of Project Activities;
- Support And Directly Contribute In The Process Of Enhancing The Delegation And Empowerment To the Partner In Project Management And Implementation In Accordance With The Program's And organization's Strategic Plans;
- Support The Program Team In The Development Of Organization Cambodia Programs, Project Concept notes, Proposals, Implementation Guidelines, Policies And Strategies;
- Contribute To The Development Of Integrated/comprehensive Approach/methodology Which Is consistent With Other Activities Of Organization
- Participate In Weekly, Monthly Meetings At Organization Provincial Office And Also In The Partner NGO's Periodic Meetings;
- Participate And Contribute Meaningfully In The Advocacy Efforts, Networking And developing/maintaining Relationship With/out The Partner NGOs At Commune, District And Province Levels In Relation To This Specific Child Protection And Resilience Project; Work With Business Support Staff And Others To Coordinate Work Schedules, Office Equipment(computer, Motorbikes, Etc.) And Other Logistic In The Office;
- Perform Other Duties As Advised By Line Supervisor.
- Key Area 2: Project Management And Reporting
- Monitor Project Activities To Ensure The Project Timeline, Efficiency And Quality From Technical
- perspective; And Take Follow?up Actions On Issues Identified By CDOs, Track And Feedback To partners And Team Management;
- Lead And Participate In Periodic Review Meetings With Partner Government And NGOs To Improve the Activities Based On Learning, And Contribute To Strengthening The Partnership Relationship based On The MoU Principles;
- Provide Supportive Supervision To Partner Staff And Ensure Partners To Strictly Follow Organization
- Cambodia Working Principles And Methodology Of Project Development And Agreed implementation In All Stages Of Project Cycle Including Budget;
- Promote Continual Improvement, Quality, Transparency And Good Governance Among The Team and Relevant Partners;
- Provide Comments To Project Team Leader And Provincial Manager On The Impact On The Relevance of Plans, Time-frames Or Achievements, In The Project Environment (either Actual Or Expected),including Recommendations For Project Design Amendments Or Project Variance;
- Support And Coordinate With Partner Government And NGOs The Timely Production And submission Of High Standard And Quality Periodic Reports, As Required, To Relevant Counterparts At provincial Office And Country Office Of Organization As A Focal Point Person For All Projects In The Child Protection Sector, File All Relevant Documents(including Concept Notes, Proposals, Budget, Reports, Field Visits, Etc.) In Safe And Secure Place For the Audit Purposes.
- Key Area 3: Financial Management
- Support Government And NGO Partners To Develop Budget Schedule And Plan; Monitor And Review the Progress Against Spending; Inform And Feedback For Improvement Efficiency;
- Be Responsible For Project Cash Advance And Foster The Expenditure Progress Against The Schedule;
- policy Compliance On Financial Management;
- Review Budget Plan And Request For Fund Transfer Submitted By Partners And Approved By Country Director; And Follow Up The Development And Monitoring Of Projects Under The Programs Areas according To Plans And Budgets;
- Facilitate And Review Monthly Financial Report Sent By Finance Unit And Partner NGOs.
- Join The Project Audit With The Finance On Request;
- Key Area 4: Technical Support And Networking
- Promote And Assist Organization Staff Capacity Building Through Regular Coaching, mentoring And Performance Review, And Training Opportunities Based On Capacity Building Needs related To His/her Job In Relation To Child Protection And Resilience Project;
- Promote Organization Partners (organization, Government, Children, Youth, Adults And communities) Capacity 'building Through The Facilitation Of Exchanges, Training Opportunities,mentoring And Technical Support, As Required And Planned Based On Training Needs;
- In Coordination With The District Team Leaders, Project Team Leaders And Sector Specialist/or external Trainers Facilitate/conduct Training Courses For Partners, Community Members, Youth groups, Children Clubs, And CDOs;
- As A Sector Focal Point Person, Maintain All Correspondence And Communication And Inform The team Management For Appropriate Action And Follow Up; And
- Coordinate With CDOs/DTLs To Ensure Project Implementation That Promotes Transformation development.

- Solid Experience In Child Protection And Resilience Areas Providing Support In Term Of Child
- protection And Resilience Technical Inputs; Experience In Project Design, Implementation, monitoring And Learning Experience, Preferably In Child Protection Project;
- Experience Working With Children, Youths In Rural Community And Government Partners; And
- A Highly Self?motivated And Committed Person With A Strong Interest In Learning.
- Regular Travel To Organization Program Areas Is Required, Included Occasional international Travel;
- Willingness To Live In The Province For An Extended Period Of Time, And Overnight Stay In The Remote community;
- Permanent Appointment To This Position Is Dependent Upon Successful Completion Of The Police check And Signing Of Organization Child Protection Policy And Procedure Code Of Conduct;
- In This Position You Will Be Required To Conduct Follow?up Policy Check Every 2 Years Or At Any Other time When Required To Do By Organization
- Commitment And Adherence To Organization Policies And Procedures Is Required.
