工作描述

  General Function and job purpose
The accountant is under the general supervision of the GRET Representative in Phnom Penh, functional supervision of the Senior adminnitration and Finance Manager, close coordination with the project managers and the finance personnel of GRET’s partners. This position is a maternity leave cover from 15 July 2018 to 15 January 2019.
The job purpose is to:
-Ensure to take care accountanting processes of GRET Cambodia
-Ensure that all the accountanting/financial documents will be filled and updated properly and on a timely basis.
The accountant will carry out the financial support function as mentioned below.

Duties:
Key Responsibilities
-Cash on hand custodian for Gret Phnom Penh
-Check supporting documents in details (cash , cheque payment or bank transfer) to ensure it completeness and compliance with rule and regulation
-Maintain monthly accounting record and supporting document
-Prepared monthly Journal for: Payroll, NSSF and Phone card allowance
-Maintain and record keeping of cash and bank books in excel and in accounting system (Sage 1000)
-Ensure proper filling of finance documents.
-Close monitoring of cash advance and its clearance
-Dealling with banks (cash withdrawal,cash/cheque deposit), collect advice/statements
-Data entry of transactions into Accounting system-Sage 1000
-Ensure the accuracy and clearly description entered into accounting system
-Do matching in Sage on third parties and internal account code
-Perform cash and bank reconciliation report at the end of the month
-Assist Admin and Finance Manager when there is an audit (internal or external)
-Update NSSF database when recruited new staff
-Prepare monthly payment to Tax (TOS and WHT) and NSSF
Other tasks as assigned by: Admin/ Finance Manager and Country Representative

职位要求

  Qualification:
-Cambodia national strongly preferred
-Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
-Good Knowledge and practices in double entry accounting
-Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Working knowledge of the legal framework and taxation issues that apply to international NGOs in Cambodia.

Relevant Experience
-Minimum of 3 years work experience in accounts
-Work experience with international non-governmental organizations is an advantage

Technical Skills
-Be autonomous and taken responsibilities
-Ability to work in multi-cultural context
-Ability to work well with different teams and to keep deadlines
-Practical experience of pro-actively monitoring reporting on budget
-Ability to work under stressful conditions
-Oral and written fluency in Khmer and English

*Working conditions:
Contract term
6 months contract, full time, starting from 01 August 2018
Salary and benefits
Salary: 500-600 USD and other benefits
