Job Description

  ** Work Location : Phnom Penh, Kandal & Banteay Meanchey

** Purpose of Position:
To help us sort out some Client Services Officer (CSO) shortage issue in most vulnerable branches since they can quickly be arranged/allocated to help concerned branches immediately until they can fully recruit the replacement. This team will be rotated from one BO to the other based on prioritized need as indicated above which is under each OM & arrangement.

** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, update and analyze required information relating to WB’s competitors, and clients’ feedback using Competition Matrices, and clients’ Satisfaction Surveys on a regular basis;
- Identify prospective clients, develop profile, approach and clearly promote WB’s financial products and services (loans—business and social loans, savings, transfers, exchanges, and additional benefits) to existing and new clients;
- Fill out client’s loan applications and collect, analyze and develop appropriate information necessary for poverty measurement and loan assessments using tablet/ipad;
- Disburse loans to approved clients. Orient clients about terms and conditions of loan contract, repayment schedule, other necessary information, and mainstream basic and comprehensive Financial Education to clients;
- Solve loan delinquent problems and ensure credit discipline of clients. Report the progress status of issues including loans in arrears to supervisors and/or managers daily;
- Regularly call/visit or follow up loan clients (to realize their loan utilization, business progress, and other challenges, observations and consultations) and remind them of on time payment on collection date;
- Report any abnormal cases, fraudulent practices or malpractices or any serious misconducts/behaviors performed by others (peers, subordinates, supervisors...) to supervisor;
- Perform other works that may be assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements

  - Currently studying or graduated bachelor degree or equivalent degree in the field in Accounting and Finance or related field;
- At least 1 year experience with relevant works from MFI/Bank;
- Have some experiences in sales or marketing previously, or at least prove sufficient competence in effective presentation and/or communication;
- Must have strong numeric skills, analytical and strong team-orientation;
- Must have commitment to work with the poor people in the community;
- Willing to travel as assigned by supervisor.
