Job Description

  - Developing and consolidate operating budgets for the administrative program of the NTFP-EP Cambodia in coordination with the staff and also with the Asia Finance Coordinator;
- Bookkeeping and reviews, analyzes, and verifies budgets submitted by program coordinator and staff ensuring balance between project funds and estimated expenses;
- Monitors expenditures of all programs and projects based on the submitted budget as well as availability of funds on a monthly basis;
- Checks quarterly cash flow projections to ensure that there is enough cash to implement activities;
- Preparing of check vouchers, Journal vouchers accuracy of requests for disbursement, check and journal vouchers, and ensures that they are properly documented and in accordance with approved budget line items;
- Checks the monthly financial reports, banks reconciliations, balance sheet reports and project variance reports;
- Prepares generates and analyzes monthly consolidated financial statements for the NTFP-EP Cambodia;
- Ensure timely submission of accurate financial reports to project funders
- Ensures accounting systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and timely submission of accurate financial report project funders.
- Implements financial controls, policies and procedures and reports to management any discrepancy, irregularity and errors in financial transactions;
- Ensures that the office complies with government laws including payment of taxes and other government-mandated staff benefits and assists in the computation of taxes and benefits;
- Verifies and follows up on possibility for NTFP-EP Cambodia tax exempt certification;
- Generates consolidated financial statement of the NTFP-EP Cambodia; Ensures the completeness and accuracy of financial documents for presentation to the auditor, and liaises with the auditor in behalf of the NTFP-EP Cambodia.
- Liaises with banks on matters related to the bank accounts of the NTFP-EP Cambodia;
- Acts as the payroll master for the NTFP EP Cambodia;
- Provides guidance to the finance staff in the country units as necessary;
- Prepares necessary financial reports for the NTFP-EP Cambodia management and Executive committee / Audit Committee of the NTFP-EP Asia Board of Trustees; and

Job Requirements

  - University degree in finance/accounting or banking
- At least 5 years of work experience in related field with NGOs or Companies.
- The candidates have strong command of English/Khmer language, budgeting, auditing, grant management skills and at least having two years of staff management.
