Job Description

  -Read log book and follow up through.
-Welcoming and receiving of guest arrivals, registering and maintaining the report with guest in a friendly and professional manner, cordially and with a pleasant smile.
-Ensure all registration card have the proper information such as, guest’s name, room rate, arrival and departure dates, and billing instructions for guest signature.
-Register guest promptly following procedure for registration, key handling, message handling and ensure that they are provided with all necessary information.
-Verify assigned room status with the computer system and ensure that all rooms given to guest up on check-in are vacant clean.
-Ensure guest details are updated in the computer immediately and accurately in order to know if there is any special request.
-Ensure all telephone calls are answered promptly and clearly in a courteous and friendly manner. All guest’s request must be well-handled and followed up.
-Have sound knowledge of all vouchers used or any other remarks pertaining to prepayment, or credits facilities in accordance to the hotel policy at the front desk.
-Inform the managers to welcome VIP’s guest.
-To keep the daily log book up-to-date by recording the briefing information, follow up guest comments.
-To prepare and print the daily shift report for back up.
-Ensure that a sale attitude is adapted at all times ie. Up-selling rooms, restaurant and service available in the hotel, and to maintain awareness.
-Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness at the front desk counter including the maintenance of the equipment at all times.
-Ensure guest room change is minimized and handled in a proper manner, and relevant departments are being communicated accordingly. Proper authorization to be obtained from the Manager or Assistant level.
-To handle all check-outs promptly for FIT individual guests and groups by ensuring all charge are settled and are in accordance with the hotel standard Credit policies.
-Ensure all check out guest room keys are collected/returned accordingly.
-Ensure all that all last-minute consumption charges are posted, such as, Late Check out, Mini bar, Rebates/ Discounts immediately to the guest folios.
-Be responsible for all the issued advance deposits, and foreign currencies in accordance to the hotel Credit policies.
-Be aware of currency exchange rates and be alert of the forged currencies and travelers’ cheques.
-Ensure all outlet bill are posted correctly.
-Ensure that all vouchers for rebate, miscellaneous and corrections are clearly explained and supported. vouchers are to be signed by Front Office Supervisor.
-In-charge cash float.
-Ensure that no shortage of float is encountered.
-Handling phone calls, guest’s message and answering guest enquiries.
-Perform other tasks as assigned by front office supervisor.

Job Requirements

  -Graduate High School or higher degree in Hospitality/English/Business Administration is an advantage.
-Working experiences is plus
-Good communication in spoken and written English, Khmer and / or Chinese is preferable
-Good personality, friendly and pleasant
-Computer skill: Ms.word and Excel
-Honest,friendly, reliable, punctuality & initiative
