Job Description

  JOB SUMMARY
"The Restaurant Manager is responsible for daily running of operations, planning, control and coordination of all activities of personnel engaged in serving food and beverages. He/She possesses good knowledge of food & beverage, up selling and availability of menu items.
He/She strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility."

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

-To oversea the dining area, supervises food and beverage service staff in accordance with operating policies.
-To supervise staff to be aware of all the restaurant’s policies and procedures (company’s policy, service standard, grooming & personal hygiene, DO & DON’T in Restaurant). And he/himself or she/herself get good practice as sample for others
-To supervise the staff to ensure excellent food presentation and proper food-handling procedures.
Check the quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods.
-To maintain health & safety procedures and sanitation levels at any given period of time.
-To be responsible for overall store operations.
-To supervise food stock and order + beverage stock and order on a daily basis.
-To oversee staffing of kitchen, counter and dining area.
-To prepare in-store action plan and implement promotional plan organized by the Marketing department for achieving sales targets.
-To create a positive team atmosphere among team members.
-To maintain records of staff periodic manner and operating costs.
-To train, develop and guide subordinates staff to well perfom the job.
-To double check security procedures both front and back of the house.
-To work long hours that usually include evenings, holidays and weekdays.
-To assist in planning regular and special event menu.
-Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at end of day.
-To count and manage stocks properly by spot checking of cashier standards.
-To investigate and resolve guests complaints regarding food quality, service and cleanliness.
-To provide a memorable experience for all guests; to interact with internal and external customers to build positive relationship.
-To prepare weekly and monthly reports to Brand Managers

Job Requirements

  - Degree or Diploma in F&B sector
- Has effectively managed Team Members for minimum 1 year. Previous experience in similar job role is required.
- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure. Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
